Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Andrew Tran
Dr. Tran grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from UNC Charlotte. He attended and earned his DDS degree at the UNC School of Dentistry, where he met his wife, Dr. Zuleika Javed.
After working as an associate dentist with various dental practices, Dr. Tran and Dr. Javed established Serene Dental Spa. Their goal with both Serene Dental Spa and Marshville Family Dentistry is to remove patients’ dental anxieties so they can achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. They provide dental services in a serene spa-like environment with a caring, compassionate staff.
In his spare time, Dr. Tran mentors kids in his youth group and volunteers with the Mission of Mercy clinic. He also indulges his inner foodie through cooking, trying out restaurants, and watching the Food Network. Dr. Tran enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing ultimate frisbee, exercising, seeing movies, riding motorcycles, and playing with his dogs (Mocha, Latte, and Punk).

Norma, Patient Services
Norma has been a part of Marshville Family Dentistry since 1987. She is from right here in Marshville and has had various roles within the community such as serving on the town board. Outside of the office she enjoys gardening, yardwork, reading, and sewing. Norma has since retired from Marshville Family Dentistry but you might see her smiling face from time to time. A fun fact about Norma is she used to own a pet skunk named Pokey.
Michelle, Patient Services
Michelle has been a part of our team since 2017. She is originally from New Hampshire but she has been in this area for over 20 years. Outside of work Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, bowling, and playing pool. Michelle has over 25 years experience in the dental field and has always loved smiles. A fun fact about Michelle is that she is terrified of amphibians and flying in an airplane.
Keeley, Dental Assistant
Keeley has been with our team since April of 2021. She is an Anson County native and the oldest of two siblings. Outside the office Keeley enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children, Dawson and Evelynn. She also loves to bake and spend time at her local church. A fun fact about Keeley is that she hopes to one day open her own bakery.
Cyndi, RDH
Cyndi has been with Marshville Family Dentistry for 15 years now. She is originally from Florida but she grew up in North Carolina. Outside of the office Cyndi enjoys reading, hiking, backpacking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 1:21. When she retires Cyndi would like to hike the Appalachian trail. A fun fact about Cyndi is she has been to 7 different countries while serving in the United States Air Force.
Tammy, Dental Assistant
Tammy has been with our team for almost 7 years now. She grew up in Union county and is the baby of seven siblings, all of whom she loves spending time with. Tammy enjoys spending time with her three children and her husband. Tammy also loves to cook, she might be what you consider a “foodie”. A fun fact about Tammy is that she wanted to be a killer whale trainer when she was growing up.
Brooke, Dental Assistant
Brooke is the newest addition to our team, she joined us April of 2022. Brooke is originally from New York but has been in North Carolina for over 12 years. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time outside. She is an avid animal lover and wants to continue to add animals to her farm. A fun fact about Brooke is she loves watching true crime and murder mystery shows and movies.
Donna, RDH
Donna has been with Marshville Family Dentistry since March of 2022. Donna was born and raised in New Jersey but spent the majority of her life in Florida. She has been in North and South Carolina for 2 years now. Donna enjoys going to the gym, traveling, and camping in her RV. Donna would like to travel out west with her husband after they retire. A fun fact about Donna is she was a hairdresser full time before coming into dentistry and she still does hair in her spare time.
Dee Dee, Financial Coordinator
Dee Dee has been with Marshville Family Dentistry since 2015. She is originally from Florida but has been living in this area for over 22 years now. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Dee Dee would like to eventually travel around the world. She has been helping and providing patients with the knowledge they need about their insurance benefits since 1992. A fun fact about Dee Dee is she is fluent in three languages.
